/ The brief

A bid film is not advertising. It is an argument made once, in one room.

There is no media plan behind it and no second exposure to correct a first impression. It plays to a small number of people who have already seen every other city make the same promises, and it has to leave something behind that a slide cannot.

So the film stays away from the postcard. It works through hands, food, work and small ceremonies, the things a city actually does when nobody is bidding for anything.
